​      I am Ian Thurau. I am 18 years old and currently finishing my senior year in high school. From here I plan to move onto University of South Florida to further my education and skill set. I have many interests including music, design, family and friends.

       Graphic design is a great passion of mine that started in the high school years. I took three years of hands on design and print communications technology class that initiated the connection and followed up with two semesters of​ Commercial Arts to really round out  skills.

​

      These classes have taught me a range of skills from logo, packaging and billboard design to the full process of t-shirt design to screen printing. Photo editing and retouching are another set of standard skills taught and heavily practiced in both of the classes . The projects are not finished until I feel like I'm producing the best output to my current ability and always looking to build upon that ability.

     ​​Additionally beyond design knowledge I also have a background with customer service and interaction through employment at the local Winn Dixie for the last three years.
